The students are gone and summer vacations are in full swing, leaving Fayetteville a little sleepy. And a tad more peaceful. And I LOVE it. It's hands down my favorite time of year.
Summertime means a bit of catching up around the shop, well actually a bit of catching up and a ton of cleaning up, to be honest. Today's "home improvement" involved a saws-all (my favorite of all saws) and a bit of muscle from my sis. Although we are busy with weddings, the crazy hectic daily orders and walk-in traffic are down to a manageable degree. Leaving us with a bit of time, perfect for dreaming up lots of ideas and new ways to share flowers and plants with all of Northwest Arkansas. I have to admit, the planning sessions we have had as of late, in the middle of garland and corsage making, have been down right inspiring. I can't wait to launch these ideas.
And don't forget to treat yourself to fresh flowers or greens for your home. Surround yourself with beautiful things and beautiful people and you'll surely have a beautiful life.
Meanwhile, we are completely renovating the front of the shop in the next two weeks, so be on the look out for new product, new designs and the launch of all our new ideas. It's going to be sick, I promise.
