When I turned 16 years old, I begged every flower shop in my hometown to hire me. Looking back, I don't think I even knew what all a florist consisted of, only that it had something to do with flowers, and that meant I was in! Being creative and artistic had always been a part of who I was, so adding flowers to that mix was sheer heaven. I still remember the first arrangement I made at that old flower shop, that was 27 years ago! Floral design and the floral industry has changed immensely over the years and I love it now more than ever. I love going to work each day. The shop is full of happy, laughing people and beautiful flowers. I mean who couldn't love that! Stopping by Zuzu's, you will likely meet my son, Titus, who works here with me along with Addy, the shop dog. I have carefully curated the atmosphere in the shop to be one of kindness, creativity, joy and inclusiveness. This extends to our customers and they often comment on it. The shop is a happy place and I love it so much. Sharing my life with this community is amazing. So come on by and see us, I know you're getting donuts next door anyways.
